The Band Oslo Snowe is an LA based group of best friends Dennis Morgan, Meg Hinton, Zan deHavilland, and Peggy Johnson.  The new single Catalina, released on their label Broadreach Music is available in stores June 16, 2023 and tells a story of the band's sailing life, and the beautiful fun of sea shanties.  The tune also reflects the band's joy in reuniting after the Covid lockdown to record again and sail the Pacific Coast to Catalina Island, California.  The Catalina lyric video is currently streaming on YouTube/VEVO and Apple Music.

The pseudo film noir scenes in the video on Youtube represented a perfect platform to showcase Ain't Goin' Back without the need for a lyric video. As the story song runs through the scenes it underscores the noir-ishness of the tune and its homage to film noir classics of the early to mid 1950's. Ain't Goin' Back was inspired by the Turner Classic Movies series, Noir Alley hosted by film historian Eddie Muller. In addition to the video creating a movie going experience via opening and closing live audience action it also includes a reference in the finale to the iconic popular film location in downtown Los Angeles, California -- The Angels Flight: "...steal away in the night, take The Angels Flight once more..."

The Band Oslo Snowe story-song video, Lost In Crazy embodies the essence of "cult classic" gangster films including intro and outro audience movie-going action.  Our lead subject in this video has led a life of crime with deceptive crime-lords and is intertwined with a female character who maintains loyalty while playing both sides.  Fun note: If you're a fan of performances like Jack Nicholson as a Southie gang leader with the Irish mob in The Departed or Marlon Brando in The Godfather you may notice our lead actor's resemblance to Al Pacino.

Free Cuts Both Ways is a dramatic story-song about the point inrelationship that addresses a crisis equally effecting all parties.

Tomorrow is a story-song about the point in a relationship where you begin delaying (procrastinating) addressing a crisis and making a difficult decision. The word procrastination originated from the Latin word procrastinatus which itself evolved from the prefix pro, meaning forward and crastinus, meaning "Tomorrow". The "masquerade" theme of the video is illustrative of the lyric focal point: "Tomorrow another masquerade, So much like yesterday, Disguised in many ways, That mask gave you away..."
